    I just recently heard of a rebuilt 2 litre engine on solex's sold for £70,000. That about $90,000. Just crazy

    I picked up this flyer at the Phoenix Club Swap Meet this March:

    I don't know if it sold or what it might have sold for, but it was running on a test stand.

    On the reverse side of the flyer Mr. Woodford also listed:

    in my opinion there's only one person who should even consider spending that kind of money on that engine and that's the guy who has the matching car. Why on earth would someone spend $65k on a mismatched engine?
