Help identifying parts early 68 s targa

    Hello all,
Pretty new at this... some help would be greatly appreciated identifying these parts that came with my1968 S Targa. I bought what I believe is a pretty original car but partly disassembled.

The first part seems to have been wired into the main harness relatively close to the headlamps switch.

The second part is a fuel pump? I believe Hardi is German? Was this added later?

Have experience with 356s but little with early 911s... thanks in advance
