    searching for Info on a 1978 3.0 SC #9118202124 California Plate 7FSG947

    Hi a friend bought this at the coys auction.
    He was wondering if somebody here knows anything about the history of this car with its uncommon color combination.

    Is this factory colors per codes or did someone just create it? Perhaps some more information on how the car was delivered new? Paint codes and numbers?

    Absolutely factory combo.

    Silver with Lobster. I used to own a 77 930 in these colors.

    If memory serves me you had a 930 with Lipstick Red interior?
    No slouch on the cool scale as well.

    You are correct Frank, it was very cool, but lobster is just so right with silver! Reminds me of the Boxster red they offered on 993's.
