I have a very early oil tank filler neck that appears to be galvanized. Any others with that finish?

my 67 and 68 are yellow zinc (which might not help you).
Thanks for your input mshaver51. Yellow zinc for 67, 68 is what I have seen on those cars. The galvanized neck is from a 12/64 production. It has held up very well, no rust, only darkened and dull. I am ready to go to the platters and that's why I'm asking. I will probably leave it original, assuming it is.
Clearly this neck is different from later ones. Angle of the cap, no tube for the dip stick and it is shorter. I'm going to keep the galvanized finish but would like verification from the early crowd. And it begs the question of when did Porsche add a dip stick to the 911? Thanks.

here is the only 300096 oil tank pic i found (will take better ones on monday)
Go to the first series Drivers Manual: with the date of 1/65 (January 1965)
p.31 the listing of Instruments (dash gauges), it describes the reading of the combination gauge Tank and Oel - no mention of using the dip stick.
In the following Drivers Manual dated Nov 1965
p.13 adds the dip stick as another method to check oil level.
Plus on page 36 is the dip stick level checking guide.
Note the Drivers Manual photo of the angle of the oil cap plus dip stick.
The Sanders side be side photo example is wonderful.
This is another example of silver cad and gold cad variation prior to 1965 and after 1965.
It has been told to me that Germany changed the legality of producing parts to allow Gold cad that year.
Prior to that only silver cad was authorized. Prior gold cad appearing on Porsches were sourced from countries out of Germany.
England, France and Italy. Notably, Brake parts from Ate and Carbs from Solex.
Can anyone verify that change in metal coating process change in legality in 1965?

the one to the right is what 96 has... probably not the original one...
but different from the 2nd one on your pic...
The plot thickens. I wonder if the factory did an update, like the new and improved heat exchangers, to provide for a dipstick?
Number 301111 (May '65) is silver and has a dip stick, original to the car.
