    Recaro & Lights Identification Help Pls- 1979 924 Rallye Details- PICs

    Hi folks,

    Can I please draw on the collective wisdom for some thoughts on two parts I'm trying to identify on the Group 4 924 Rallye from the 1979 Repco Trial;

    1. Recaros- can anyone hazard a guess at what Recaros (& they were Recaros) the following headrest might belong to - remember this car was prepared in 1978 although seats may be earlier? This is Roland Kussmaul exiting the car at the service stop in Derby in Western Australia on 11.8.79.

    2. Driving llights- can anyone identify the make/type of these please?

    Many thanks in advance.

    My guess would be the same models as the ones used on the 1978 911 SC Safari.

    and it seems that the Sinsheim museum has (had?) still at least one of the Safari car. They may be able to help you.
