Obviously, I didn't make myself very clear. We're not happy with the existing situation running with high compression 2.8 pistons without the associated benefit of dual plug ignition. Since we are only firing a single plug, we don't get to limit total timing like we could with both plugs working. So if we aren't going to enable the second plug, we are just going to go back to the stock 2.7 RS P&C's with stock single plug heads. The spigot bores weren't opened up when the change to 2.8 was made, so it should be easy to go back.

I also did a poor job in referring to the earlier combustion chamber mods - I was thinking of whatever blending was done where the second plug hole broke into the combustion chamber. I really won't know what (if anything) was done until we have it apart.
