as I learned today, the old style key ring is having re-edition from the company having the Reutter trademark.
I heard of it as a rumour, but actually they are out for sale and had been showed at the Retro Classic in Stuttgart lst weekend - these are for 90.- Eur -

The differences are obvious, the rear of the crest is plain, the leather also unmarked and plain and I would call it the „eyes-wide-open-horse“, out of astonishment to be recreated...
but have a look at yourself...

....... Horse not much like this which I believe to be an original ...as the advert says over here "Should've gone to Specsavers"

I'm not a fan of reproduction stuff tbh.

UAI - Why England? - Because England was the centre of enamelled key fob production in the 1950s and 1960s - all manufacturers from around the world bought fobs from the UK as they made the best jewellery quality key fob badges. Castles Unit Developments - CUD was a huge company. I have a big CUD collection and there are surprising amounts of slight variations to the crests used on fobs. Also there were key wallets made like this super rare one.IMG_9612.jpg

Here's one I've had for 45+ years. I've never seen another with "Craftsman" on the reverse side, but seriously doubt it came from Sears, Roebuck and Co. No markings appear on the leather fob.
