    May 1,2.1971 NATIONAL BRIDGEHAMPTON plaque

Disassembling my car for restoration I found this brass plaque.
It was inside the hot air tubes (close to webasto).
For sure it fell inside the tubes from the dash.

Any ideas about what it could be?
On the glove box door I have a brass plaque too...was it original or aftermarket?

The glovebox plaque looks similar to others I've seen where owners had their names on dash plaques when they received them from the dealership. Here's a picture of another one....

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridge...n_Race_Circuit. SCCA is Sports Car Club of America. Like PCA but for all types of sports cars

if you want to do something period correct on your car, put a dash plaque on the glove box door. Love the one above with the owner's name on it. My Dad had a German cross on his '69 E that I gave him in 1969 (kind of like the Red Baron).

Bridgehampton was a great track. I used to race my Suzuki GS 1100 there in the early '80s with AAMRR.

The Bridge may have been my favorite track. It looked slow but it was really very fast. And, if you went off you were up to your rocker panels in sand.
