    When I am sacked I might get into this business, do not count on me Frank. I restored 2 and was glad to leave the 3rd one unfinished to get rid of it for 100 bucks and a happy -but naïve- face.
    Every time I look at such 140-piece phenomenon of art, I regret being part of the efficiency progress that killed that kind of useless-design-against-all-odds initiatives.

    Some time ago, I bought two full sets of the nuts JimmyT makes and Puma refers to in the link above. They are so extraordinary they even have the micro-etched part number on the bottom contact surface!

    The rivets on both my grills are chrome, although on some it has worn off a bit, showing the brass. I always deemed mine to be original due to the state in which I got them......

    Continuing on the Rivet theme, anybody have a rivet solution for the gas pedal adjuster on wood footboards.? Have to transfer the hdwr onto a new board. Any help appreciated
