    68 RHD 911T Info

    Hi Gents
I need your help. I recently purchased a 1968 911T from the UK, although the majority of its life I believe was spent in Sacramento. The 68 was originally burgundy, but was resprayed Bahama yellow in the US. I believe it left the US in 2010 back to the UK. It was a RHD when it was in the US. If anyone has any information about this car or remembers who the owner is please let me know.

    Thanks
    Peter D

With the help of MrBMW2002, I've been able to establish that the 1968 911T last lived in San Rafael CA, owned by a Mr Rogers. I spoke to Mr Rogers today but all that he can tell me was that it was purchased from a car yard approx. in 2007 and he owned it for 3 years before it was purchased and shipped back to the UK. The 911T was always in RHD form in the US, so i don't think there were many RHD 911's on the road in CA. Originally it was burgundy in color, but it did have a color change to light yellow during its life in the US. In the photo the number plate is visible so if anybody knows how to track previous owners the vehicle was registered to i'll be interested, The Vin#11820744. Below is what the car looked like before it was shipped to the UK.
    Any info will be appreciated.

    thank you in advance

    Hi Peter
Forgot about this thread. This is what the 68 currently looks like and what it possibly looked like when it lived in the US before being resprayed light yellow. Remained and driven as a RHD in the US. From what I've been told the 911 was shipped to the US in the early 70's from the UK and remained in the US until 2010 when it was sold and shipped back to the UK and restored back to its original burgundy.

Thought I'll give this a bump.
Any info will be appreciated, wouldn't be too many RHD 68 911's getting around in the US.

    Thanks
