Factory vs AMCO Rear Bumper Bar/Bumper Bows/Bumper Guards/Ram protection

I recently had an interesting pm conversation with an US member about his Model Year 1972 car, as per Kardex/COA factory equipped with bumper ram protection, both with single bars, on front and rear. And as he states correctly, this design was seen also on 2.0litre cars.

We then went over a 1971 factory brochure (often misleading dated as 1972) were there was seen another ram bar design…with two rear bars and one single bar in the front.
Most think its an aftermarket item(read here: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...rotection+1972), as AMCO provided this design since the mid-sixties. But AMCO aftermarket items published in an official Porsche Brochure ?

Doing a search on cars shown on this forum confirms that both designs can be factory OEM.
Their OEM Rear Bumper guards differ to aftermarket items by AMCO mainly by the mounting system: "invisible" screws is factory OEM, "visible" screws is an AMCO aftermarket item.

More important and new to me, the two bar design on the rear seems to be a 2.2litre only thing, available first in 1970 and 1971.

No document in my collection currently shows what factory design was available for 1972/2.4litre (there were much less literature items printed for 1972/73) but mentioned owner confirms on his MY 1972 car, the factory went back to the "older" system, with a single bar on rear.

As for accessories lists, some years confusely list only "Rear Bumper Guards" (1969, 1972) while some other years list "Front and Rear" (1970, 1971).
In general, all kind of description was written…"Rear Bumper Bar"/"Bumper Bows"/"Bumper Guards" of what is often described simply as bumper ram protection.
In any case, this option was rarely seen on RoW cars but found mostly on US market cars.

Here is my contribution on literature, on this topic it has not yet been published on the registry.
sorry for bad quality pics, btw.
