    Lightbulb

Just got this from our tech support:

Theyre actual users. Perhaps spam users but registered users nonetheless. Every profile has it and if you have thousands of posts on the board theres probably a fair amount of people looking at your profile.

    "Actual users"?

So does that mean a human being signed up as ocassarinorenat and creeped on my profile?

Or is the "actual user" a bot?

    Frank and all,

From what I'm reading in Ashton's (our tech support) response is 'registered users' can in fact be spam/bots......

Not sure if Vbulletin (our host) can fix this without altering our forum...

I have about 5 visitor names that seem to be suspect....

I'm sure your tech guy is collecting/blocking IPs. There are also independent forums where administrators can share spammer IPs to block. vBulletin makes it easy to do so. A limited number of IPs produce a major share of spammer accounts.
