front st oil cooler / s oil cooler differences?

hi guys would any of the resident experts be able to tell me the difference between an early front oil cooler from 69 onwards and a st oil cooler. As far as i understand the s cooler has 27mm threads and the st has 30mm threads i would like to confirm this though?.

    cheers

    Jonny,

the 69-71 S or ST would have the 27mm fittings. The 72 cars had the larger 30mm threaded fittings. There is also a very slight difference in the shroud.
