    Fuchs 8x15

Just the other day, I managed to find a pair of Fuchs wheels. They are 8x15, part numbers are 911 361 020 12 and date stamp is 3/77.

My question is: which model had these wheels originally? They seem to be relatively rare, at least I can't find too much info regarding wheels with these numbers.

    Many thanks,
    Timo

I suspect standard Fuchs wheels for Turbo model.

    The 12 8X15 replaced the 02 8X15 in the 74MY.
They were optional for the 74 Carrera and standard for the (US) 75 Carreras and 75 & 76 Turbos.
They were also used in 76&77 as optional wheel for the Euro Carreras. as noted.
I doubt if you will find a 77 Turbo that came with 15" wheels as 16" were standard.....possible but not probable.
Not rare or unusual. I sold over a 100 of the (12) 8X15s as soon as they were available in late 73 and continued to until they were replaced by the (42) wheel.
