    WTB: one (1) Weber 40 IDS 3C in useable or rebuild able condition

    As title states looking for an orphaned 40 IDS 3C carb (of course with enrichment tubes )

    have a set of IDA s or IDA w/ cash to trade

    I have a rescue 40IDS body that needs a good home. Just the body.

    Thanks Frank please let me know what you come up with although I certainly would prefer a complete unit albeit needing rebuild ,I'll consider what is available , I'm most concerned about the S exclusive acceleration tubes.. Bert

    Bert,
    What I have available is the lovely cream puff below. You will need to supply a top. 40 IDA top will work with some machining. Paul Abbot is the man for the job.

    On sale now for $1000.

    BTW: How did you end up with only one carb? Maybe these two were separated at birth?

    and it's missing the forward butterfly


    and short shaft.
