    Which Engine ? part2

Hi all- which engine would be "more fun". 2.2S with 70.4 crank or a 2.6 with RSR 92mm pistons on a 66mm crank.? I like to rev. Chris

    Chris,
About 30-40hp difference given the same comp, cams, intake, etc. and they will have similar "rev" tendencies. (And anyone who says there's a meaningful difference in this area between the two is full of crap.) If your idea of "fun" is being able to throttle steer the car, then 2.6 is the way to go.

Your biggest decision would be whether you want to violate the case with enlarging the spigots.
If you want a bulletproof combo use a sand cast case, not mag.

Yes one of the main issues is whether to enlarge my 73 1/2 911T 7 R case. or keep it stock since the track people like the case. BTW is there still a Club Sport series that builds these 2 liter engines and would be looking for such a case? Chris

Always a market for 73.5 case.

Gotta be worth at least $500.
