Exclamation Two 911S 1967 just 297 Vin numbers apart – restored vs. barn find

As the restoration of my canary yellow 911S also built in 1967 proceeds, I visited once more my restoration company in Hungary to check the progress.
As we were walking down the halls, two nearly identical looking 911S in sandbeige caught my attention.
It turned out, both cars were not even 300 Vin numbers apart. One is a two owners car with Patina used as a daily driver, while the other one is perfectly restored (as I hope my one will look soon).

It was really unbelievable, how you could compare both cars. I took pictures of every detail.

These are the two extremes one can ever see. But I do definitely prefer the fully restored one, I want a reliable car. The history just starts over one more and begins with me ;-)

They also made a small movie of both cars

I might opt for the (restored) euro car. Love the absence of bumper over riders and the tail lights, but then again, I would be happy to have either.
