. . . takin' the day off, again

.................................................. ....................
Missed getting 'early entry experience' tickets --- for $35/ea . . . but? . . .
. . . traffic wasn't that bad --- + my buddy 'DW' was driving, so we could take the 'HOV' (= 'high occupancy vehicle,' aka 'diamond') lane . . .
. . . and we rolled onto downtown ~8-ish
Lotsa construction goin' on, thereabouts --- high-/density rise apartments, looks like
Dropped-in to The Pantry ('est. 1924')for breakfast . . . = two-times:
..eggs (over easy)
..sausage paddies (massive)
..pancakes (ditto)
..glasses o' 2%
(Burp!)
Paid for DW's, too --- he was driving, after all . . . if I can call it that . . . = ~$40
Lasted me all day . . .
. . . 'cept for a 32-oz Dr P that I absorbed at the venue
..............
Requisite Porsche content . . .
. . . in the parking lot
Just your nice/basic/garden-variety/pre-investment GT3
(. . . on its way to a barn, maybe?)
.................
Only Ferrari that we saw at the show . . .
. . . in the lobby --- shilling for a used-car dealer?
Gack!
Then/again . . .
. . . this is the California T, so . . . .
(Does anyone actually drive these? . . . or any Ferrari, for that manner?)
..
More lobby action . . .
'Avorza' . . .
. . . as in 'avorza da requirements of a car 'causa ita only hava tree wheelza'?
Kinda reminds me of KTM's 'Cross-bow' *
Anyway . . .
Nice face
No butt
More wheels --- make that more car, please?
* And what ever happened to that, anyway
.............
. . . '3D Printing'
'Naked' bike
Frame, mostly, I think
No idea if this is a 'real/functioning/useable/actual' device --- no lights, signals, license plate brackets, etc . . or just a bunch o' plastic bits mocked-up to demonstrate what's possible using this technology
Still --- v kool --- IMO . . . especially that tank!
..................
. . . more '3D Printing' . . .
'Naked' car, this time
K --- now THIS comes across as a somewhat more thought-out + developed + involved + put-together kinda project . . . looks like metal bits connected/bonded w/ CF tubing. And just check-out that suspension . . . no Blacksmith cutting tubes to fit, here = CAD-happy or what?
Dunno what the costs are of this kind of approach . . . + I don't see anything like impact bumpers or crush-zones or . . . so --- maybe this just some 'blue-sky' technology demo? --- to attract attention/business/FaceBook likes? . . .
. . . sure got mine . . .
. . . but seeing this kinda elaborate/intricate/beautifully-executed stuff done by a small-time company . . .
. . . = pretty d@mn exciting

. . . 'dressed' car, this time
Zis slick or what?
.......................
LEGO-Porsche? . . .
Porsche's current racers take more-than-a-little getting used-to, looks-wise . . . not pretty --- IMO
. . . think that the 3D Printing Guys could help out a little, here?
........
Jaguar I-Pace
Woah . . .
. . . and check-out the hood, will ya?
Greenhouse seems a bit smallish/waistline too highish, but roof looks like its all glass (!) --- + check-out the flush door handles . . . = tidy-tidy
Oh-yeah --------------- electric
Soooooo --- what's with the radiator + ducting in front? Sporty AC?
..........
