    Out of Hibernation

    65 356C Coupe
    Bali Blue, grey leather interior.
About to go on sale in the East Bay (I've got all the details)
    Believed to be numbers matching
Been sitting in a garage in San Francisco for a looooooooooooong time
    Runs and drives fantastic.
No work done, other than draining the gas and and refilling with fresh gas, and twisting the key.
    Euro heater
Theses pictures were taken out front of my shop on it's initial voyage after waking up from a long nap
Should it be washed or left alone?
I love this car and I have nothing to do with it's owner or her representative. Well, that is kind of a lie, her broker is a good friend of mine.
Somebody is going to get a fantastic driver.
I would have posted more pictures but realized that the Lic number was visible in the rest of my pictures and I know some as^wip* would do some sleuthing, find the owner and pester the poor woman death.
She is not at all happy about selling this car.

My buddy drove the car over here today. Unfortunately, the rain is going to wash off that neat layer of dust. The car is "numbers matching" and was a European delivery with the European Heater system. There is a Certificate of Authenticity available. It's a 64, not a 65.

    Jim,

Buy some magnetic 'EASY' signs and slap them on each door and write the car off as a business expense. Matches your logo already.

Beautiful 356, love that color combo

So, I'll be representing the owner. She's gutted about selling it. She has some health issues that prevent her from enjoying the car and insists it go to a good home and not a flipper. I'll put together a formal ad in the next few days. I've already got a couple of parties interested who saw it on Saturday. I did confirm that the engine and transmission numbers match the COA. Original color but a repaint. Longitudinals and battery box have been replaced at some time but not in the last 15 years of current ownership. Its a very solid driving car with good gaps. The engine runs beautifully and is very well balanced. All the electrics seem to work. Disc brakes function flawlessly and the transmission shifts perfectly. The only significant drawback to the car is one of the headliner bows has come out of its receptacle and come through the headliner. Jim thinks the headliner is original but I'm a little skeptical. I'm going to attempt to make a tool to reinstall the bow in its proper place but the headliner does have a hole in it. The car is at my shop, in Oakland walking distance from EASY. 510-420-1262 is the best number to call for any information.

Is that a (UF) GATORS plate frame that I see, or do my GATOR eyes deceive me?! Nice car. Great color.
