Jim actually doesn't want to see me fight, he made me promise once to not cause a scene at his place when I ran into someone I really didn't like.
Frank, pennies on the dollar isn't quite right, most people who buy in bulk like to get between 25-30% off for bulk buying. I think you're too far for me to go and we are settling in for winter to work on our own projects and stuff.

When I cleared out my 356 cache about 10 years ago, it went on eBay starting at .99 each with no reserve. The results were surprising. Probably not as good as having Jim handle everything for you, but the next best thing to trying to figure out a price for each item.

The 99cent strategy works but not this time of year. We normally don't sell anything from Thanksgiving until February, too many people are doing holiday stuff and not buying. Also, the 99cent plan might not work for Frank's stash since it sounds like he has some big heavy stuff like gearboxes, those take longer to sell. Smalls work well for 99cents because they are easily shipped all over the world, gearboxes, not so much.

There is also the Phoenix swap meet in LA in March, that wouldn't be too much of a hike.

Frank….a lot of us 356'rs are looking for our original motors/cases. Can you post the serial numbers either here or on the 356 Registry site???
It would help reunite some cars with their long separated motors.
    Thank you!!

I do this once a year with engines and cases, you would be surprised how many hits I get, not a lot, but 1-2 a year makes people pretty happy.

Frank, we are planning our arizona porsche only swap.meet in tempe on april 1. If u can find someone to help u load i can help u sell. Or sell it all to me and i will give u first dibs at the swap meet if u have sellers remorse.

    That's adorable Jules.

One reason I want to liquidate is because I'm tired of storing it, dealing with it. The only lifting I will do is the beer to my mouth while watching someone else do the manual labor.
