What have you found in your car ....

Especially with previously owned cars, its always interesting and yes, sometimes surprising what one finds in your car. Whether in the ashtray, door pocket, deep in the trunk or even the glove box, there are sometimes "interesting" things lurking in our cars.

I'll start. These were left over from when my daughter and I would go for drives and get icream in the early 911. She must of been 9 or 10 years old. I sent this picture off to her and she remembered and wanted a copy of this picture. Cute!

Great idea. In my 66 912, I found the original lackstift and in the side pockets old maps from the late Sixties when the first owner drove the car from Monterey to Seattle.

My best find came out of my 2000 Boxster.

I pulled out the center console to replace the shifter and I found $39.12 ... IN CHANGE.

    Awesome!

You can put that toward window regulators and plastic interior parts that crack!

While dismantling the car I pulled off this hose and found an old pen. I know, not very exciting

I found one in the same spot (Plenum drain tube) on my 66 912.

I found a Belgian coin in the dash. The little woman googled them and it turns out one of the coins is worth about $10- $20. I'm just going to leave the coin in the car.

When I get a car I will diligently clean any nook & cranny for anything of interest left from the PO.
A ticket found in my 1970 914-6 for a football game between two of the oldest teams in the league.
In a previous 1969 911 T I found a number of coins in the footwell pockets which bought me about 1/2 tank of gas and a quart of oil.

    Cheers
