    So definitive proof that under the rear vent it can be 'car colour' and not 'blacked out'...

    What about the 2 pins in the door jamb of the red 67S interior shot.
    Always thought its body color but here its silver metal. 67 only?

    Re the rear vent, agree its not "blacked out" on the red Soft Window Targa.
    Shots are reported April 1967 so pretty late production.

    And the BLACK heater hoses, even though people strive to have brown ones or patinate them to brown.

    They were all black, people!
