    Current owner is upset, but the next 2 or 3 owners are going to be the ones crying... Hopefully it gets reported to the insurance company and reported to carfax.

    Perhaps not.

    Insurance settlement is the ONLY way one doesn't "take a bath" on these cars.

    Will probably end up at L.A.A.D. with a clean title.
