Trunk colour on a vin 3000XX 1964 built car

Saw today 300082, 1964 built 911 in state of restauration.
There was a discussion about how the trunk color is. I said matt black over body colour
but others said, its just body color.
What is the state of knowledge, particular on such an early one ?? 300082 is one of the very first one.
Any infos (and proof) are appreciated. Im still learning.

And no, cant reveil by whom its restaured neither by whom its owned..discretion is asked.
But can report its a beautiful site to see the object and 082 is well alive.

Interesting. I have never seen these 'rounded' hooks on the firewall. Possibly a 1964 item??
I thought all the cars of 1964 and into first months of 1965 had a short water drain tube. This one is long like other SWB.
Is this a replacement fender that has not been changed to spec?

Thx. I received a detailed list on 64 details via pm and did forward it to its current owner.
Yes, drain typ is of later date, some details might be unique as its a very early VIN.
I was told car was once raced and now taken back to original state.

A reminder that 64 authenticity is currently at a new level.
I think we're going to see some glaring incorrect features on previously restored cars.

A public thank you to those here who are documenting nuances. (Franz and Bob among them.)

Jacques and I saw it in Maastricht at Interclassics.
Indeed some details do not match with a '64 body shell.
Most striking are the M8 stamps in both A pillars.

not to steal this thread, but why is M8 stamped into this metal? What does the M8 mean?

As to the M-8, I once asked Jochen Ruder, at that time head of the Porsche Classic department,,,,he didn't know either! As to the trunk, should be black asphaltic undercoat, as is the engine bay.
