I have seen dozens of "NOS" wheels that, after inspection, actually were just clean old (used) wheels......

Turns out that I know this wheel....or at least know of it. I thought it was long gone and used as a spare for a concourse car. Turns out he didn't use it after all. So it is/was the real deal....and he has already has caught the wrath of the concourse gods for putting the cap in for the photo.....

Is there any easy way to establish whether or not a Fuch is still wearing it's original finish? I have some 5.5" and I'm curious to know if they were ever refinished. I can't find any authoritative thread on "this is how Fuchs looked from the factory"... Anyone have pics of the treads, etc?

    Thanks in advance,
