I happen to have one of those odd ball combo
I will need to buy or make a set
I look to many supplier but no one mention a specific carpet set
It must be different as the shape is different but no mention of it
I have the tire cover and sides but no bottom
Does any one have a picture of the difference

I went through the tread and its cool however it brings one more question
I have the tire cover nice
However i dont have the hole to mount the leather strap and that panel.is mint never touched
So is the strap a usa car only?mine is a german delivery car

Not sure if the straps automatically came w/ the Big Tank . . . or not
Maybe straps were part of the Rallye Kit?
Anyway FWiW --- they're not needed to fit the spare --- see post #701 . . .

After more research and combing through the PET
There is a special carpet for the 100 L tank trunk
And after discussing with someone who makes them
The one i have is the 100 liter original
He said wow I have never seen this one
Si i agreed to send him mine to be used as a template
The part number is 901 551 045 26

I have not found any reference in the PET about the tire cover
It not listed in the carpet section or with spare tires either but i do have it
The carpet does not lay flat in the bottom
There is 2 seam that are making it as a rounded part to cover the tank

Hi,
Tony at Autobahn is already making these pieces using original carpets for the patterns. Yes, he has the 2 seams in the large piece to accomodate the tank. I just pulled these from a box, they are newly finished by him, I'm just not ready to put them into the car as it's still in restoration, sorry for the wrinkles in the pieces. Yes, that's the round cover in the back for the spare.
