    Since Mark has the fan and housing, he can readily tell you if any machining was done. Safer to do now than when you get your refinished kit back and find your old alternator not a fit anymore.

    You will want to check the pulleys alignment before buttoning this job up. I needed to mod the new alternator to get the pulleys lined up satisfactory. I found the new alternator fit well but then the fan pulley extended away from the housing enough to cause a nuisance mis-alignment.
