'. . . one of the rarest 911, built out of 43 lightweight shell, as most of those cars were either sent back to competition department for full road race or rallye modifications.
As little as less than 10 were destined to special customers, Porsche executives, or factory drivers and ordered with special options for street. It is said that it is likely the only one in silver color, tinted glasses, heavier Recaros sport seats, power antenna, limited slip. All lightweight features were conserved like thinner gauge for roof, rear seat area, alumunium gas heater lid, gas heater because hot air ducting were deleted in rocker and the outlet in cabin were capped, rollbar mounting plate race belt mounting, deleted seat track reinforcement, ashtray bracket, glove box, conduit for trunk and engine lid. Also deleted are rust protection coating, insulation. The interior is felt everywhere even headliner and dash fascia. Also deleted were front grille, torsion bars coverings, lead on rocker panels finishing. It is also the first time the lightweight door panels were used (RS style) and the list goes on and on. The car is full matching numbers as the original engine case had been found, acquired after inspection by US Porsche specialist. It was rebuilt with all correct dated genuine parts, gearbox also original matching number. All chassis numbers are present and untouched even the under dash pad chalk production number has been preserved.
Car had been in Canada since early 80s and stayed under radar for over 30 years partly due to 935 style bodywork, when i bought the car as a regular 911S project and having owned many special Porsche it was not long before i found out all special features and when contacted Porsche museum archivist Dieter Landenberger confirmed me that it is one of 44 cars built 930kgs for rallye. It was also confirmed by Porsche expert Marco Marinello.
9110301383 is now restored to highest standard the way it left factory in April 1970 and put on the road thru Hahn in Stuttgart. I am still trying to find what and who for the first 10 years. The car was carefully taken apart and photographed to document such special details like body color everywhere, trunk, engine compartment and underneath; those color features officially arrived later.
It is featured in Excellence magazine February 2017, displayed at Jay peak Porsche parade and Amelia Werks reunion. This is certainly an exceptional 911 for any serious collection. Full restoration photo album comes with car. A factory photo is in the Porsche Museum book . . .'

Great car. I had the pleasure of supplying the harnesses and the lightweight needle felt to Jacques the owner of this car. Does anyone have any better pictures/links of the harnesses in the car. ?
Thanks
