WTB: 1968 Engine Sound Pad and Side Panels (912)

I'm looking for an original engine sound for a 68 in very good condition. Thanks

I would think, even if such panels existed today, on a car, in very good condition, they would be destroyed trying to remove them. Stoddard sells the side panels. Unfortunately, the texture of the 912 main (engine) pad is different from that of the early 911 (although the configuration is the same), and I know of no source of these original texture sound pads. For period (911) correct dimpled engine pad check with Eric Linden (Auto Foreign Services). This will look better than other aftermarket replacements, but again, the texture will not be the same as the SWB 912. If you do find a source for the correct engine pad, please let me know. Good luck, Jim.

Thanks Jim, one of his was plan "B" but then the aftermarket sides wont match so I may end up doing with a matching set even though it wont be right. Ill let you know if I find a correct match.
