Swapping out Webers for MFI. Cold Start upgrades?

I've started the process of replacing the Webers the PO had installed with the original MFI that has been boxed up for over 20 years and came with my '69 911S.

I sent the pump away to be inspected. When I removed the side covers to insure the oil was drained out of the pump the inside of the pump looked great.
'Fingers crossed the expert will give it a good bill of health and I'll only need to deal with the mistakes and issues I cause myself reconnecting the plumbing and electrical harness.

At this time I'm running some really nice old school open air filters on the carbs. I love the sound!

While figuring the return to the MFI I had hoped I could retain these open air filters and was wondering how to deal with the cold start enrichment sprayers.

I see the primitive spray tubes in the big box air filter that squirt raw gas into the MFI stacks-

Do I look to fab similar spray tubes into the open air filters?

Is there a clip-on tube that attaches to the velocity stacks like the open race style stacks available?

Is there an alternative enrichment mod that can be made to tell the rack to go rich on cold startup?

What is the best way to accomplish fuel enrichment for startup that isn't a fire hazard with open air filters?

Is there a way to bench test the two temperature start switch/senders? One has continuity- the other does not. I heated it to 50C and it didn't change. It is marked 45C...

The '69 MFI harness cleaned up well enough but the insulation is super brittle. Is there a way to access the terminals inside the plug to replace the wires?

    Thanks

For '70 and later cars the temperature / time delay switch does not have continuity . One terminal is for a heating element and the wire comes from the starter . The other terminal provides continuity to ground for the cold start solenoid when the switch is cold . I think the '69 switches are the same .

Thanks. The Pelican site has great insight into this. And the cold start spray.
