Best way to advertise my car for selling

Looking for recommendations for best way to advertise my rather non-OEM 67S that I want to sell after 37 years of "Performance Oriented" enhancement:

    • Early 911S Registry
    • Hemmings
    • PCA
    • eBay
    • Bring a Trailer
    • consignment with a broker like "Auto Kennel"
    • combination of some of the above?

Thanks to any & all feedback!

    Paul,

    Define "best".

Your challenge will be to manage your expectations on your opinion of value vs. a buyers. Flared fender hot rods are for special enthusiasts who want something different. As Peter alluded to, you may have just pursued the best way... most in this community know you and the quality of your workmanship well and would be thrilled to purchase your personal car. As long as a buyer pays your price wouldn't it be nice to keep it "in the family"?

I've been impressed with BaT lately. Prices have been good and the process is transparent.

    Avoid brokers and auction houses.

As Franks says get the word out in community that car is available- figure out the market correct pricing and that will get the ball rolling. Based on what I have seen lately the hot rod market has come back to life- good time to list for sale.

    Good Luck!

I'm kinda liking BAT from what I've seen regarding prices frt hot rod Porsches. Of course, keeping it in the community would be best.

Wasn't planning a trip to the swap meet although I did consider it...perhaps a "fun run" to LA would be entertaining.

There has been some impressive results for Porsche hot rods listed on BAT- I think it's worth giving them a try.

Frank's words and advice are right on the money... no pun
