    Looking for the light

I saw these last week at Jim Liberty's shop in Costa Mesa for the open houses portion of the Lit show. Asked him about these side marker lights he had on his 'oh so cool' 911 and 356. He said they were originally on European delivery vehicles. They appear to right at home on his P-cars. Jim does amazing work and is a very nice guy. I'm looking for a set of these as Jim no longer had any left. Anybody recognize these and have a source?

I have a single NOS, but I can check whether the guy I have mine from has more.
They were besides being marker lights (roof) on cars that ran le Mans often on Italian Cars as side indicator.
If you need only one PM me - and I'll check whether there are more in the meantime.
    Cheers

Not exactly the same, but similar to the VW type 3 side markers.
Reproduction VW ones are available in several configurations.

You could buy them from a-klasse01 or I could sell you a pair and a door number light bracket:

I found a pair on German Ebay a couple years ago.....they were used on Gerhardt Mitter's Bergspyder as corner markers back in the day. I used one as a roof marker on my FiA GT grp I '67 S.Name: L1090151.jpg

Are these the same lights used on the 935? I'm looking for some for a customer of mine.

I'm looking for white or gray rubber bases.

    Thanks,

    Mine have black rubber bases.

I was Garretson's team physician, gopher, cook, and in charge of signaling before radios in the 80's. I don't recall these lights on our cars. The most popular marker and side number light back then was a Hella unit used as the rear license light on BMW 2002s.

If I will get more (still unsure) mine will be much cheaper than the a-klasse.

If you only want the lights, they can ship today for $49.74 each, plus your choice of shipping - USPS Priority ($7.15) or Parcel Post ($3.00).

The same lights were used on the later 935's.
