My small "a" Hazet Assistent won't win any beauty or cleanliness awards but it's possibly older than me and had some good use along the way. Still going strong with its original continental wheels, fittings etc. Fully loaded with old tools.

I wouldn't give it a cosmetic restoration like some do. Got a set of nos replacement top shelf mounts however if ever it needs a repair in that area to keep functional.

Think it might be similar to this late 50s early 60s era 161L with a single shelf. Photos and extract borrowed from pelican forum

Any shop owners remember Don the German tool guy from Albuquerque? He drove the SW peddling garden variety Stahlwille and Hazet hand tools and special tools.

Always had the requisite rubber chicken on board.

I remember when Baum used to sell rubber chickens.
Was "Don the German tool guy" the man behind Albuquerque Specialty Tools?
