Oklahoma has a good year round climate, though the winds can be lethal. For whatever reason, it is not associated with Porsches of any stripe.

Seeking the road less travelled.. South Dakota, around Rapid city, might be worth a look.

Sounds like you have to move to "down under" mate!
No tornadoes, no quakes, no rain, great variety of driving roads, and it isn't full yet!

California has great roads and the best Porsche community but has stupid high taxes and smog requirements. (Has Earthquake potential)

Florida has sunny weather, Sebring/Daytona, couple of decent Porsche shops, flat boring roads and cheap cost of living. (Has hurricane potential)

I am currently in Florida part time but I find myself looking to the west at all the cool porsche things they are doing.... i wanna go west. Perhaps someday.

Having lived in Florida for 18 years and escaping almost 4 years ago to the Philly area (and soon into the city), I can tell you that Florida is hell on earth. Between the crooks and the politicians (one and the same),
the gators in the back yards, the blase attitudes and itinerant people, the hurricanes and watching for hurricanes (a daily event), the incessant heat and humidity, and the roads (flat as a pancake that's been ironed, as I used to say), it sucks. There are a few good Porsche shops, Sebring, Daytona, and Homestead, and a wine/cheese PCA region. I was there last week for the Werks Reunion/Amelia Island Concours, and couldn't wait to get out of there. It is no longer inexpensive, it is one strip mall after another and new cookie cutter houses.
I'm originally from NYC, and couldn't wait to get back to the Northeast and the change of seasons. Both my son and my girlfriend's son went to school in Philadelphia (Temple and Drexel), so when it came time to move, the city was our first choice.

Being stationed in Orlando for a year was enough for me and that was even with the good experiences of yearly vacations when growing up. Of course we were escaping Illinois for brief periods but, still.

Ordered out to the Bay Area in 85 and I never left. The Central Coast is a little slice of heaven and can't be beat for a Porsche environment. As with anything, you get what you pay for.

Nailed it. There is a member here who lives in Orlando who would tell you the same thing. Another in Miami who has nothing nice to say about his location.

Humidity? That's why everyone leaves in the spring to go back north. Snowbird communities everywhere.

Florida is a 6 month and 1 day state, what were you doing there year around? Come to Illinois if you want real Politicians/Crooks we still have some in jail.
