    P7 & cn36

    Hi

for those that are unaware of it Pirelli and Porsche have teamed up to make a small range of N4 Porsche homologated tyres:-

P7 http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...i-cinturato-p7 just the 2 for now, but we are working on the possibility of more.

CN36 http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...cinturato-cn36 came out in 1968 and is a tyre very much associated with Classic Porsche.

On this page http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...-porsche-tyres there is tyre fitment guide for Early Porsche and an independent article about the CN36 and other tyres in the 185/70VR15 size

Big sizes would be so great....appropriate for 9 and 11 inch wide 15s....

    the CN36 http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...cinturato-cn36 comes in a 165VR15 CN36 N4, 185/70WR15 CN36 N4 and 215/60WR15 CN36 N4

Here is a film with an Alfa chap mounting some 185/70 onto a 7" wide rim https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rEUEkOZOfw

The P7 http://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/page...i-cinturato-p7 currently comes in a 205/50YR15 P7 N4 and a 225/50YR15 P7 N4 However i am in negotiations to make a 280/40R15 and a 345/35 R15. These will be good for you chaps, and i can also sell them to Lamborghini Countach and DeThomaso Pantera which helsp make them a viable size.

Contemporary pictures of the CN36 on my RHD ROW 911L. I'm delighted with them. I've done about 1200 miles on them so far.

I think that I have already asked (in fact, I think that we may have briefly met during the last Epoqueauto, in Lyon), but please try to release a P7 in 225/50 VR 16!
