Congratulations to Early 911S Registry member Mark Morrissey on his very cool prototipo Anorak article in 000 Magazine, issue 002. It's a must read for early 911 Porsche fans!

Thank you for subscribing! Unfortunately, no soft-cover 001s are available—it really is sold out. We were surprised by how quickly the overage of 001 went, and by demand for the remaining stock of Issue 000 (the "prototyp" issue, which is still available). While our original objective was not to do back issues, we are mulling a second run of 001 because the first run was so small. Quite simply, we misjudged demand. So there's a waiting list for a possible reprint, and if it gets long enough, we may do a second run with some small differentiator. Please reach out via the Contact Us form on 000magazine.com if you'd like to be added.

To celebrate the Turbo 3.0 book printing process starting last month, we are excited to offer a very special contest for Porsche enthusiasts. At Parabolica Press, we believe in producing exceptionally researched books, uncovering never before seen material, and striving to set a higher standard for automotive books. Recently, we've found a kindred spirit in this pursuit. The quality, depth, new material, and overall presentation of 000 Magazine is exceptional. Their quarterly magazines are consistent with the standard we have set for ourselves at Parabolica Press. Indeed, each 000 issue could be characterized as a mini book. For this reason, we are excited to partner with 000 Magazine for an exclusive opportunity to win either a one year 000 Magazine Subscription or the award winning Carrera 2.7 book.

    Thanks, Ryan.

I know this is the Early 911S Registry, but it's one of the few internet forums I haunt regularly for a simple reason: The people who make it what it is have always struck me as real-deal enthusiasts. And Ryan's work shocked me the first time I saw his 911 on Concours on the Avenue, and then blew me away when I saw his first book. I think it will go down as key pieces of Porsche literature, so those of us at 000 take the compliment above with a good slice of humble pie, Ryan, and are glad to be partnered with you.

And for anyone still on the fence about 000, all I can say is we cooked up something very special for Issue 004—something from 1973, surrounded by more cool work from Mark Morrissey and so many more...including very cool assists by Cornpanzer and Nine17.

I was asked by 000 Magazine to help research an article on early 911 headlights. As many here know, I had done a lot of research over the years, with a great deal of help from the knowledgeable members of this list, and had compiled the information at my website. I really was not up to speed on the magazine but it was a pleasure working with Mark Morrissey, a real gentleman. Figured it was a fun project.

Then I received a copy of the current issue. Holy cow! I had no idea what a spectacular publication I had associated with. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m honored to have been asked to make a small contribution to it.

    Cheers,
    John
