    RIP Heinz Bade

I put this in Other Porsche Passions as Heinz was more known to the 356 crowd than the 911 crowd, but he was an incredible guy. Here in the states, he was best known as Bruce Jennings master mechanic and 4 cam wonder man. Some folks don't know that Heinz was also Stirling Moss's mechanic and was invited to Europe every year for the F1 race in Monaco. Heinz was an incredibly nice gentleman who always had a great story to tell. for many years, he knew we had a chair in the shade and a cold soda for him under our tent at the Hershey swap meet and for that, we got to hear some incredible stories and watch him hold court.

I know others on this forum who had a much closer relationship to Heinz....Hopefully they will share a story or two....and hopefully someone can post the pic of a young Mr. Bade in front of 4 4-cam engines, with a 5th on the stand behind him and in front of a Speedster...it is an iconic photo
