    LWB heater cable source

    Does anyone know of a source for the heater cable on a 1970 911T? Sierra Madre lists one (I believe 69-74) with 1380mm length, however they are out of stock. Stoddard doesn't have a listing and the dealer can no longer get them. Does a person need to get creative and adapt one from a VW bus?

    I've purchased two from PORSCHE with the last one just a few months ago and never a problem getting them...but they are not inexpensive. The correct ones should have a plastic coating on the wires.

    Correct you are.
    I phoned my local dealer back today and got a different parts guy. He found the part # and it is still available! Not cheap like you said, but better than NLA.
