Correct Color for Braided Brake Fluid Reservoir Lines?

What is the correct color for the cloth braided tubing that connects the two brake fluid reservoir exit lines to the plastic feed lines for the master cylinder on a 1970 911?

The photos I have seen and all the old reservoirs I have in my stash have black cloth tubing. I was told by someone knowledgeable that they are supposed to be blue.

    Which is correct?

I know you can buy it new in either blue or black. My question is what was the correct original color?
