What you've got there is a sonderlack pup! Most Borders are bi-black. So it stands to reason bi-red is "special" pup!

no clue. I have seen cars delayed by several weeks but who knows if that was because of special paint, lack of parts or whatever. I have no price list for 1968/1969 for Belgium so no clue what it cost to have this car painted Mazaratt...

Special paint according the catalogue (except silver) DM 450.-
Special paint according any chosen sample DM 735.-

    to compare:
Becker Europa Radio DM 450.-, Becker Grand Prix DM 700.-, fixed rear glass for Targa DM 110.-, Recaro Sport single seat DM 90.- (keep in mind its an upgrade - in exchange of Standard seats), Front seats in leather DM 360.-, Webasto heater DM 590.-, Electric Sunroof DM 900.-

Electric Sunroof is the most expensive accesories, special paint according any sample and a few radios are second.

I thought we were steering back to Mr Winter's post

I'll find out. His wait was over a year but i don't believe that was because of the color. Simple supply and demand issue.

And thank you for looking it up and posting the deets Karim! Very cool!
