    Stoopid Kwestion 'o d day

I know "traditionally" that rear fog lights were always red (and only one) and the 2 fronts were yellow, but was yellow ever used in the rear? Why?

I think a bright yellow light in the rear would be very confusing for approaching traffic. Are you coming or going?

the law in Germany is for red. Red for stop and rear driving lights, and yellow for turning. That is why the euro lenses for the 911 were yellow in the signal area, and red for the parking/brake area. Rear fog lights are just a brighter version of the red driving lights.
