    Dirk,
Good luck trying to find a good original brown carpet set. When you have exhausted all other alternatives, try Lakewell.com. I bought mine though them. Not cheap, but excellent quality.

Thanks for the mentioned alternative. Seems pretty unexpensive. They do not show pictures of a brown carpet.

Pictures would help. May you post yours?

    Hi Dirk,
I went with a darker (non original) brown carpet. My 72T Targa interior was a dark brown and I wanted darker carpet than the original factory color.
Here is a thread that should help with your brown carpet decision...

    Where to buy?

I got mine through a non specialist, local trimmer in Melbourne, Australia who just looked it up after I mentioned the salt and pepper haagarn and he had a sample in one of his books
so i expect any decent trimmer in Germany would have access to the same product.

Several other fellow Aussie 911 owners have the same carpet in their cars now.

Tony at Autobahn Interiors in the USA has the product as one of my friends bought a kit from him

    Hi Clyde,

my trimmer has´nt the correct material while he has most of the materials I needed in the last years. But not the correct brown 72/73.

My you post a closer look of the carpet and what a set would cost in a PN?

You would need to check with Tony as it was a few years back but $1500 US rings a bell

Will take a closer pic tomorrow
