Received my new old brown interior recently.
Spend nearly 14 month to convince the former owner to sell it to me.
The rear seat backs seem to been fold down all time long. The carpet of the rear backs show very clearly the dark brown area which was under the rear shelf and the fade out rest which was under direct sunlight.

Ordered several samples from KHM, Cartex and Lakewell.

Will post the next samples after they have arrived.

I like the idea to go with a darker brown untill I ll find an original carpet set.

I checked some old pictures of MY72/73 factory tours and a picture of a tan interior shows clearly an non tan carpet.

Don´t get mislead by the paper material on the floor.

Dirk, finally had the chance to gut out the interior of my 73. Hope you can use any of it. Not as good as I was hoping for.

Dirk, I️ would love to buy anything you don’t need, there are only like two original pieces in my ‘73 T. The pics of the available choices is great. Do you have a sample of the color Tony at Autobahn uses?
