Opinions on Zenith 40 TIN - value request

Hello All, after selling my 66 911 I kind of tuned out while chasing another marque. Three years later I now own the car I have been chasing.

Included with the car came many other parts, two of the items are Deutsche Vergaser Zenith 40 TIN carbs. They appear to be complete with manifolds but will certainly require a complete rebuild - restoration.

I have no idea of their value nor do I have any need for them so I would like to sell them, can you suggest a reasonable ask so I can price them fairly?

I can send photos to an email address but not sure how to post images from my ipad, sorry.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I don't know the exact market today but they are worth considerably less than the Webers. Last rebuildable pair I saw go went for 900.00 and that was when the market was high. I am sure if I am off base many will chime in to correct me.
    Cheers

In the last 12 months I've sold them for anywhere from $500-850 for rebuildable pairs.

    Why the range?

Based on oversupply on my part and desperation of buyers.
