Need help identifying this SWB seat

This looks like a drivers side seat. Can someone confirm? I want to install it in my 1967 Porsche.

What year Porsche did this come from?

    Thanks

For the USA that would be from the right hand seat, passenger side - note: seat release is next to the right side door.

On the early cars 1964-65 there was no seat back lock on the drivers side only on the passengers seat.

Would anyone from a right side steering car like to add if this was true for those countries as well.

Actually, the seat back lock was ommitted on the driver's side on 911s until the 68 YM

THis seat is the passenger US Right side but earlier than 67 Because of the WHite plastic spring covers instead of Black. I would guess 66 MY? Late 65 to 66 BY

That is a driver's side seat from a 68 911L with Elephant hide upholstery. I've tossed much better seat than that in my dumpster.

    Regards

    ds650,
Welcome to the club. You have stumbled on a rare elephant hide seat. I have been looking for a set of covers for years for 911L and they rarely come up for sale. -Eric

If the 68 seat becomes available I'm interested.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
