    Stock front torsion bars for 914/6

    What is the front torsion bar size for 914/6? Also confused on color. I have many of them and I marked some black and reds as rears and most are not marked at all? Thank you.

    Thanks Jim. So what are Ts and again are the 2 colors to designate front or rear and which is what or are they any different?

    Selling, friend has a 914/6 that was used for sport with 22mm and now restored and to stiff for street Jim.

    Just give him a pair of 911/912 19mm bars. Those are way softer than those 22s.

    What about the difference in spline count? I found out the hard way that the 914 torsion bars/a-arms have a different spline count than the 911.

    Isn't that correct?

    Yes, you are correct. An A arm that looks just like a 911 A Arm may not be one, after all. The spline count is everything.
