Despite the moderate success restoring the chrome surrounds, I thought I'd see if I could remove the scratches and scuffs from my lenses. They weren't a disaster, but had quite a few small scratches and scuffs. No cracks fortunately.

So I bought a headlight restoration kit

    And got to work

I'm very happy with the final result. Very easy to do. All scratches on the main exterior body of the lenses are now completely gone. It took about 1 hour to do both lenses. They will be going on the car over Xmas. The cutting compound that I used for the final polish on the main body of the lens has also brought more shine to the chrome surround too.

    Hi Paul,
Good job! Chrome surrounds look good too.
    Kind regards
