This 74 RSR just topped the Artcurial Motorcars Monaco auction 2017

This 74 RSR just topped the Artcurial Motorcars Monaco auction 2017, selling for $2,017,000 including fees. Here is the link to a list of cars sold and details...

The mid 70s short hood 911 competition or special offerings have somewhat overtaken the long hood early 70s 911 competition cars in recent years. I keep telling John Dilger that he needs to include some special mid 70s short hood car articles in ESSES mag. since they are also 'Early 911s'....but to no avail. The market will keep on seeing increased values for these mid 70s 911s, and this Forum will keep seeing a growing interest in them if allowed to shine a little more by the 'gendarmes' here.

That's a really nice car with good history. Here it is in 1980 at Road Atlanta, behind the 934 of Mandy Gonzales (of which I am now caretaker- come see it at Monterey). There were some quick Latins in IMSA.
