    Blaupunkt Frankfurt V-Code 64/65

This Blaupunkt Frankfurt AM/FM radio was just completely gone through by the radio doctor in St. Augustine, FL and is in like new condition, everything works. It is a V code so correct for 64/65 911 and probably late 356. Price is $650 shipped in the USA.

Knobs are for 356, is it also working on 6 volt?

I don't know why Mike Fitton's being unresponsive. I'm pretty sure V-code Frankfurts can switch from 6 to 12 volts. Here's a photo of the "power box" of my US-band Blaupunkt Frankfurt (V715137--identical to the one for sale save mine has 911 knobs) in place in my 911:

You can make out that "12" peeking through the cover beside the "V" that's the 6/12 volt selector in 12 volt position. You should also be able to switch from negative to positive ground (as practiced by Joseph Lucas, the Lord of Darkness).

You should probably contact Mike Fitton directly to make sure but US-band vintage Blaupunkts are pretty rare and everybody wants them because European FM now goes up to 108 MHz.

Yes, the knobs are 356, but the face plate is 911. If it works on 12V, there is no reason why it wouldn't work on 6V. He did mention that the voltage switch was replaced.
    Can't we all get along?

    Regards

    Jim
