One would call that a misfire. When was the last time you did a complete tuneup?

Hi, the car had been stored for years, I did major service changed the
    spark plugs
    gaskets
    hoses
    clean out the gas tank
    new filters
    new electric fuel pump
Only thing I didn't rebuild/replace was the Mfi pump & injectors
    What could be causing it?

    How about the plug wires?
If not that, have the injectors cleaned and tested. Does it misfire while driving? Have you tested to see if the fuel mixture is ok?

Do you know of a place that I can take my injectors to get tested?
Haven't driven it on the street yet just warm it up once a week.
    Haven't tested the fuel mixture.
I was looking for a shop to take it to because I'm not an expert on the Mfi.
Does anyone know of a good place in socal?

It appears to me a mixture issue. It could be a number of things....

    stuck rack
    lazy injector at idle
    linkage issue(s)
    Air Bypass screws plugged
    etc..

    Does the engine take throttle?

Until he actually drives the thing and gives it a bit of a workout, he'll just be chasing his tail.

Do you recommend driving it? Any risk of engine damage?
When I give it throttle it revs fine just at idle that it has the misfire
